Most malware spread via the Internet. If Google Chrome does not show web pages on your computer, it might be because the system has got infected with a malware during the previous Internet browsing session or in some other means. Malware cause such problems by damaging the application files of the web browser and changing the network settings. The web page not available issue on Google Chrome caused by malware can be solved by removing all malware from the system using a good antivirus program or a malware removal tool.
Reconfigure network settings
Incorrect configuration of network settings can also cause web page not available errors on Google Chrome. All Google Chrome users having the web page not available errors are suggested to check the network settings on the system and make sure they are configured properly. The web page not available error might be because of DNS errors and in such cases, the problem can be solved by changing the default DNS server in use to a more reliable one such as Open DNS or Google DNS.
The web page not available issue might be because of the firewall on the system. If users have installed some external hardware firewall or separate firewall, then Google Chrome would have to be allowed to access the web pages. Users facing the Google Chrome showing web page not available errors are advised to check the firewall settings and if the firewall is found blocking the connection, creating an exception for Google Chrome would solve the problem.
