Block Pop-up in Safari ®
Pop-ups can be best described as a new browser window that opens up automatically without user consent during a browsing session. Pop-ups usually contain advertisements and they can be a real pain when multiple windows or tabs are opened at the same time. Some pop-ups are also known to contain malware and clicking on them would download malware to the system and compromise the security of the system. Safari browser comes with a default pop-up window block option that can be enabled in the Safari Tab. Safari browser allows users to block pop-ups so that the browsing session would not be disturbed. This ready to use feature not only enhances the browsing experience but also keeps malware at bay. As an alternate method, the block pop-up window in web content of ‘Security’ option can be also checked for the same results.
